Welcome to the Guild Page

The Guild is an Organisation for Women and Men of all ages. We would like to invite everybody to our meetings. Whether a member or not, you are very welcome to join us for as many meetings as you wish.

We meet fortnightly on Thursdays in the Church Hall, Market Street at 7:30pm, usually from October to March. During Covid restrictions we are meeting by zoom, the link for which will be available in the member's area, or from one of the contact people below.

The Syllabus which the Guild Team have prepared for the 2021-2022 Session is available at the end of this page.

Our Aim is to invite and encourage both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.

  • Worship is an essential ingredient in all our meetings and activities, rooting us firmly in Our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Prayer underpins everything and we can all be involved in the work of the guild by praying, asking our Lord to guide us as we seek to do His will in our lives, our church and our community.
  • Action means living out the faith through supporting Project work, and thinking practically about current issues such as: Care for creation

Our Motto is "Whose we are and Whom we serve"

The new Guild Strategy for 2021-2024 is "Look Forward in Faith" and the themes for this period are:

  • 2021-2022 - Lights and Bushels
  • 2022-2023 - Wee Seeds, Big Trees
  • 2023-2024 - New Wine, New Wineskins.
